𝗠𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗼𝘀_𝗡𝗧 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗼 𝗱𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗮

Last week (on September 20, 2024), we gathered in the historic city of Santiago de Compostela to celebrate the closing event of the Menelaos_NT project. The event started with a heartfelt memory of 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗢𝘁𝗺𝗮𝗿 𝗟𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗹𝗱 (Universität Siegen), our former project coordinator, whose vision and leadership shaped the foundation of our work.

We were privileged to have Dr. Daniel Müller (Head of the Postgraduate Centre ‘House of Young Talents’ ) lead two insightful workshops on “𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴” and “𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄𝘀”, providing invaluable guidance for future career development.

The closing remarks were delivered by our project coordinator, Prof. Paula López Martínez , who reflected on the incredible journey of 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗼𝘀_𝗡𝗧, showcasing the impressive results achieved by our Early Stage Researchers (𝗘𝗦𝗥𝘀). Their hard work and groundbreaking contributions have made a lasting impact in the fields of advanced imaging, remote sensing, and sensor data fusion.

We are proud of what we have accomplished together and look forward to seeing the future successes of our talented ESRs.
