Last week (on September 20, 2024), we gathered in the historic city of Santiago de Compostela to celebrate the closing event of the Menelaos_NT project. The event started with a heartfelt memory of ๐—ฃ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—ณ. ๐—ข๐˜๐—บ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ ๐—Ÿ๐—ผ๐—ณ๐—ณ๐—ฒ๐—น๐—ฑ (Universitรคt Siegen), our former project coordinator, whose vision and leadership shaped the foundation of our work.

We were privileged to have Dr. Daniel Mรผller (Head of the Postgraduate Centre ‘House of Young Talents’ ) lead two insightful workshops on “๐—š๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐˜ ๐—ฃ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—ฝ๐—ผ๐˜€๐—ฎ๐—น ๐—ช๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด” and “๐—ง๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ผ๐—ป ๐—๐—ผ๐—ฏ ๐—œ๐—ป๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜ƒ๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐˜„๐˜€”, providing invaluable guidance for future career development.

The closing remarks were delivered by our project coordinator, Prof. Paula Lรณpez Martรญnez , who reflected on the incredible journey of ๐— ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ฒ๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ผ๐˜€_๐—ก๐—ง, showcasing the impressive results achieved by our Early Stage Researchers (๐—˜๐—ฆ๐—ฅ๐˜€). Their hard work and groundbreaking contributions have made a lasting impact in the fields of advanced imaging, remote sensing, and sensor data fusion.

We are proud of what we have accomplished together and look forward to seeing the future successes of our talented ESRs.
